Krampus Vysočina

This devilish association was founded by Petr Jelínek, a native of Polná, in 2017 in Jihlava. He was greatly inspired by preserving the devil masks from his childhood, which were created in the 1970s by Václav Kunc, a mask maker and creator for the National Theatre and Barrandov Film Studios. His passion for the tradition grew into founding the Krampus Vysočina group, which, after its first performance in 2017, excited the public so much that today the group consists of about 40 active Krampus members and fire performers, bringing the total number of performers to around 60. They are constantly on the move, participating in events, parades, and processions, both in the Czech Republic and abroad, along with other domestic and foreign Krampus groups 😈💪.

Their performances focus on creating a show with fiery effects, drumming sounds, and adrenaline. The masks and costumes are crafted by German carver Martin Speth 🔥.

Their projects also include charity events, especially aimed at helping children in need 🙏. They consider it the right thing to do—because there can never be too many good deeds 🍀😈.
